Their commitment is clear and specific: to provide consumers with a product with the best organoleptic properties and maximum guaranteed quality and safety. To this end, Lafuente Tomey counts on the total involvement of all the people who make up their company, and work under the leadership of a rigorous, young and constantly evolving quality department. Only in that way have they been able to feel more and more satisfied, year after year, with the product that they finally distribute. Their products and facilities have been certified according to the main food safety and quality protocols: QS (Quality scheme for food), BRC (British Retail Consortium-Food), IFS (International Featured Standards-Food).

They are handlers and distributors of a product that they are very familiar with: fruit. Since 1994, they have done their utmost to understand and satisfy customers’ needs. Thanks to them and to their suppliers, they have continued to grow each year. Today, they market approximately 10,000 t of stone fruit. They base their work on experience, on special attention to customers’ opinions and on the constant study of developments made in cultivation, production, handling, preservation and distribution.

The new facilities, inaugurated in 2008, have the necessary infrastructure to standardize, preserve and distribute products. Lafuente Tomey relies on the latest technological advances in three independent calibration lines, with dry and water dumpers, and calibration by weight, diameter and/or colour. In response to this highly vibrant sector, they offer all the existing packaging formats, always choosing the one that adapts best to customers’ needs.
